What makes a Team?
Pop Warner sets limits on team size. All teams will consist of 16-35 players and require 1 Head Coach, 2-4 Assistant Coaches/Equipment Managers, and 1 Team Manager. There are no try-outs and teams will be based on age by July 31, 2024. Central Jersey Pop Warner plays in an Age-Based Tackle Football Divisions.
Ages offered will be subject to change based on both athlete and parent volunteer numbers mentioned above.
PARENTS: We can not do this without your help! We need volunteers for Coaching, Administrative, and Support Roles throughout each Team and the Organization as a whole.
Coaches must be certified by USA Football through an easy to follow online course. We will also require completion of the Rutgers SAFETY Clinic. There will be clinic opportunities this Spring and Summer to learn the game of football; skills, drills, practice and game planning with Coach Carty and other Montgomery High School coaches.
